Girls's Coaching Staff

Sam Quilter

Coach Sam Quilter is a Maryland native. Born and raised in Ocean City, Md, she has been playing since she could walk and started on a team at age 4! She played four years of varsity at Stephen Decatur High, winning regional championships and advancing to state semis 2/4 years and competing for regionals all four years after winning their conference.  She played for the Greene Turtle Travel Team from age 11-13 and then for Eastern Shore Lacrosse Club all of high school.

She was invited to try-out and selected to play for the Mid-Atlantic 

team in the National Tournament summer before her senior year.

She went on to study Math with a specialty in Education and minor in Athletic Coaching at Salisbury University where she also played under Coach Nestor for 2.5 years before a back injury forced her early retirement.  At Salisbury, in addition to playing, she was a young life leader and on leadership for FCA all four years - two organizations near and dear to her heart. All throughout high school and college she coached youth rec and travel teams and refereed.  During her senior year she coached middle and high school at the local private school.  After graduation, she moved out to SoCal where she is now the head coach at Mater Dei High in Santa Ana, helps coach youth, and is heavily involved at Hillsong OC Church. ​
